Still a lot of hoops ... do find the "glee" by a certain sector amusing

Have I missed something? That's from almost 2 weeks ago, so not quite current news.

Is he simply clarifying - or looking for an out. I'm surprised that Twitter has claimed that "only" 5% of accounts are fake ... I would've though that figure would be a lot higher, considering FBI research points to around 90+% of contentious (right conservative) posts are bots or paid trolls

Elon Musk says Twitter deal 'temporarily on hold'

I think the deal will fall through so for now I'm shorting it.

1 - he was over paying.
2 - he would have to put his tesla stock up as collateral.
3 - twitter falls into the bubble category imo.

If Elon backs out, I reckon that'll be the beginning of the end for Twitter.

Liberals are already leaving Twitter and without Musk at the helm the RWNJs won't have the "freedom" of racially (and otherwise) vilifying others.
Plus it might make it seem that it's not a good investment, especially if he blames it on the proportion of bots and spam accounts.

actually no, elon might be "richest" man in the world, but he is no where near as liquid as he should be,

His not backing down, he wants to pick it up cheaper.

He has them in corner, twitter has to provide evidence to back up the 5%.
    Love it
