    Hi All,
    I’m considering houses , 3/4 bedrooms in
Murwillumbah or Alstonville for investment .

Any experiences or thoughts on these towns .
I’m favouring Murwillumbah . Yes I’m aware the town occasionally floods in areas.
    Cheers

Who would rent the property? Taylor your decision on what will suit the tenant pool. Both places have positives. Which location is best suited for Capital growth? Which industries will perform?

Murw is the business hub IIRC (government services etc) whereas Alstonville is the nicer location. Has been a fair bit of subdivision in Alstonville in recent years - how has that impacted supply & rents?

Do you think Alstonville is a nicer location . Both have stunning surrounding areas. Murwillumbah is a very beautiful town and area.
I actually think Murwillumbah is a bit safer with a bigger population and being within an easy drive of Tweed and Lower Gold Coast . Houses sell fairly fast there Recently , it’s become popular with tree changers . Some nice new shops going in and a new supermarket . Who would rent ? Those who work in Tweed or GC but like a quiet village country vibe .
