Was Kevin Costner playing the part of Donald Trump? (It's hard to see him playing Hillary).

And while I still remember 'Colonia' was also fantastic.

We saw Nocturnal Animals instead of Hacksaw Ridge. It was pretty harrowing and quite uncomfortable to sit through but I still enjoyed the movie. A movie that has you thinking afterwards and questioning "what happened after....?" is always a good movie I think.

Agree art should provoke a personal response. 'Colonia' the second movie that I mentioned above is another one that's harrowing but has a strong impact, made me google the true story behind it.....WOW.

We saw the movie "Arrival" last week - I quite enjoyed it.

It reminded me a little of the old "Close Encounters of the Third Kind".

I saw the promo and thought it looked good. I'd like to see it, though it didn't rate really well- 6.5 on IMDB and 6.7 on rotten tomatoes. Critics reviews are mixed. I'm wondering though if the racial themes may have caused some user reviews to be more negative than they would have otherwise, in this increasingly polarised world.

Not sure on that side of the movie Geoff, but it did give a mirror on just how powerfull the British Government was during the early stages when the first test drill holes found several mineral deposits ,if i say anymore it will ruin the movie for you..

There is a place in Canberra called Tiffany's Palace. If I ever had breakfast there I would stay married for about 37 seconds.

One of my faves! Earliest memory of something that inspired me to become a businessman.

You wanted to become a businessman so that you could pick up Julia Roberts on a street corner and take her home?

Went to see the film today. I very much enjoyed it, an excellent film. A great insight into how Maccas all came about- i had known very little.

I think that the 1% you mention is not quite right... I think the quote was that they feed 1% of the earth's population on a daily basis (although that seems rather on the high side to me) and something about being one of the world's largest holders of real estate.
