    Thanks for the heads up.
Did you watch it all the way until the end?

I watched London Falling and loved it. The special effects in the movie are great - London being bombed. The wanky americanism is terrible though.

Watched Mad Max Fury Road the other night... what a steaming pile of dog poo. How did it get any nominations let alone awards, B to C grade.

Agree with this. It was rubbish. 90% of the movie took place on a truck!! Crap.

Yep.wached it till the end. Was horrible.
Typical story line done a thousand times- good guys ( americans, who else ) vs bad guys ( mid eastern , who else)...many bombs and explosions later..the good guys win..expecting anything else ? As simple as that- no depth of storyline, no depth of characters, shallow plot, acting etc...
The one star id give it is for the special effects. Else would be 0 stars.

Probably was hard for them to make it entertaining, because its more doco / educational than movie. And yes had to be sensitive to the fact that so many people lost millions.

I can not believe Child 44 is never mentioned great movie.

Another a few years ago now, when in the video store was a single video on the shelf, when I picked it up an old bloke behind me said I'll enjoy that, It was a great movie, extremely nasty though, but another one that never got a mention "Dead man's shoes".

Maybe I'm just a bad judge.

Watched "I give it a year" the other night.
It's a bad Rom-com but if you need to sit through a rom-com for brownie points it's bearable with enough funny parts to it.

Script is of coarse highly predictable.

What an awesome movie! One that has lived up to the hype. Even the gf enjoyed it... Aside from the scenes of graphic violence of course. (Which were awesome!)

It rated 4.4 out of 10 on Rotten Tomatoes. Perhaps you had to recognise the stereotypes for it to be more enjoyable?

Edit: 69% of audiences liked it. Perhaps they just didn't like it a whole lot?

Sorry, i misread TMNT's post. BFGW 2 rated poorly; the original rated a somewhat better 6.7 with 73% liking it.

Hadn't heard of it yet, but I'll take a look.
I'm guessing it was Alan Rickman's last movie?

Saw '10 Cloverfield Lane' yesterday. Bit strange but was interesting enough to keep me watching. Don't think I will ever watch it again though.
