That looks like a good movie.....but I hate sub titles, so I guess I won't be watching it.

I don't doubt there is....but the effort of reading the sub titles is annoying, added to the fact that when the plot is complicated, it's sometimes hard to work out who's saying what.

I'm with you - I find I end up watching the subtitles and not the movie

Some series (especially on Netflix) are dubbed. But the quality can vary, and can be extremely distracting.

I've never had a problem with subtitles.

With a Spanish speaking wife, I get to watch a lot of TV with subtitles. I often need to turn on subtitles for her even when the show is in English, if the accent is very strong.

We watched an Israeli series a while back (Schtisel) which was excellent. But I had to co-ordinate two devices to watch at the same time, the tv with subtitles in Spanish, and a tablet with subtitles in English, as she sometimes can't keep up speed with reading in English.

And I agree that there are some great shows in other languages.

Sure! But there's more good shows than I have time to watch, so I prefer not to have to work at getting used to it.

It stars Salma Hayek and Owen Wilson

I hate it when too much of the story is revealed in the trailer :(

I love movies with subtitles/captions! I immigrated to Australia 22 years ago and still have all captions on when I watch all movies or Midsomer Murders:). It helps me to solve the case along the way. Foxtel used to have World Movies channel which I adore and sadly it doesn't exist anymore. I do miss the opportunity to experience the world on my couch via the world movies. My new love is audible, "What happened to you" by Bruce Perry MD, PHD and Oprah Winfrey has truly touched my heart at the moment.

Where did you watch/stream it? If no subtitles, is it dub ed, and from what language?

It's also useful to have the name of a movie in the post, and not to have to click a link.

Sorry, they're just points which will encourage people to watch it.
