Western Sydney is a goldmine. I'm telling you mate. Ppl on here either have missed the boat completely or sold off a little early and have been hurt by it.

Just wait and see what St Marys becomes. Its going to be massive and a major major transformation even to what it is today.

HAHAHA......I just re-read like half of that thread. What a joke some comments from members are. Total bullocks.

"We are at the absolute peak"
"Your are bound to lose money"
"You got to know when to hold and when to fold"
"Its not about the place its about the timing"
"definitely a very poor time to buy"

I could go on and on and on so with much wrong in that thread.

ALL the haters in that thread got it completely wrong and ALL the investors of the greater west got it completely right. ALL the guys on there owe "electronic_exp0430" beers and lobsters. His comments are classic and he was 100% right.

Hear hear or is it here here. With auction clearance rates consistently in the 80s lately, and I can't help but think interest rates will stay low for longer that was expected before this lockdown, and judging by the last lockdown when it seemed people bought houses and saved money instead of spending it on things like overseas trips, I certainly wouldn't leave the market. I also can't help but think that so many first home buyers missed out so far this year due to the steep prices hike, that they've continued to save and will be ready to pounce if there's any sniff of an easing in prices, such that any price easing will be very short lived. I believe there's a whole bunch of buyers out there in the waiting. Of course I could be wrong, but all I see is rising prices for a while. And if borders open to foreign buyers, then boom. Yes I'm happy with my humble house at Harris Park and glad I bought another a few months ago at Oak Flats. And I'm stoked to hear the Druitt doing well, a suburb that represents the real people.

Well its brick, which is relatively rare for the suburb.

LOL! Another piece of trash journalism! I've been to trash towns, & Mt Druitt isn't close. No mention of Trashmount....sorry, Ashmount, Moree, Broken Hill or any other's that are out there.

Ahemm (clearing my throat). I lived and worked in Broken Hill for a few years. Awesome people. It was etiquette to chat to the person behind you at the check out, say hello whenever walking past anyone and wave in the car within 30 km of the town. And very accepting and arty with the pro hart thing. But I wouldn't invest in property there. And to be fair, I agree, talk about incompetent journalism with the Druitt, great place, great people has always been my experience, and history shows, awesome investment.

You've gotta love an MP with such high aspirations:

“But Armadale MLA Tony Buti was having none of it, clapping back at the ‘award’ and the suburb’s detractors....

...There are certain parts of Armadale that have special challenges, but there are other parts that anyone who came out would say, ‘Gee, I wouldn’t mind living here’.”

Apart from the odd record sale, what's happening on the ground now? Things slowing down in 2770?
