    Hi everyone
I’ve just purchased a flat and noticed mould outside on the eave outside the bathroom (yes should have inspected properly before buying).
The bathroom is ventilated with a fan and window. No visible mould on the bathroom ceiling but the previous owner may have painted over.
My question is, who is responsible for fixing the outside mould - me or the body corporate? I’ve read that it depends on the source of the mould.
Would mould come up like this on the eaves due to poor internal bathroom ventilation? Or is it something else? Any way to tell the source?
    Thanks everyone

It could be from gutter overflow leaving water on the eaves or leaking from the roof. It could be worse than the mould issue so better to ask Strata to look into it first.

Looking at the pattern/plume, it looks like the top of the window has a mesh vent....
Aka, moisture escaping from your bathroom causing the issue = your liability !

    PS, welcome to the forum

If it is your responsibility and if you have to fix it, this mould killer works like magic. Just spray and the mould is gone. No need to wipe after spraying. Will be easier for you.

How did you go in removing the mould? Did it ever come back?
