    Hi there,
Are there any mortgage brokers here who can give me some pointers into how best to plan buying a property?
We sold our first home in 2015 and are currently renting. We have held onto our savings from the sale as we wait for the right time to buy. I'd like some advice on the best scenarios in our current situation.
PM's would be most appreciated, thanks

    Hi @cluelesslucy
Plenty of great brokers on the forum - depending on where you are located, most should be able to assist. Just check the Service Directory to see who may be a good fit to work with you on your plan, in line with your goals and needs.

    Hi Lucy,

Rather than having lots of brokers advising you, you’re most likely better off finding one that you resonate with and just working wth them. Otherwise, you risk getting lots of different ideas which can actually be more confusing than clarifying.

The directory is good but you’ll get a better feel for people by reading the forums.

    Good luck!

    this .........

Think of it as someone that is thirsty

One or 2 ideas and opinions are possibly good

4, 5 or more is like a fire hydrant and full roar - they will still be thirsty, but wet miserable and will often blame the water, rather than the person that opened the hydrant.

I once had a suspect that had spone to 31 other brokers.............

    Hiya

Seems to be millions of brokers on this forum :) I’m sure any one of them would love to help.

Agree with Jess - best not to approach multiple.

    Cheers
