    I've learnt the hard way, I brought an investment property not long ago and went straight to the bank for a loan not knowing any better. I was clueless about the importance of loan structuring. Thankfully had some very knowledgeable people on this forum that guided me through the process.

    If I had to do it again, I will definitely go through a Mortgage Broker. Its too late for me now, but I have friends who are going through the same thing and was wondering whether I can get some recommendations for them for good mortgage brokers in Sydney. Preferably in the CBD.

    @Shahin_Afarin just helped me with a refinance. You are spoiled for choice here because there are so many good brokers so it was hard deciding to who go with. But Shahin really does live up to his reputation. His wife is also ex-Westpac and very experienced, which makes it a bit of a dynamo team. Couldn't recommend him / them enough.

    Many on this forum @giraffez
    We have been using @Eric Wu services he helped us refinance and extracted equity happy with his work. I reccomend him to you if you haven't got one yet

    Some great ones here and depends on location - Sydney = Shahin.

    He is also a very accomplished developer and communication skills are 10 out of 10. If Shahin is busy his wife Angie is also a great broker. Years and years of experience that some others lack
