    Hi guys,

I'm currently doing some due dilligence on a property I'm looking at and I'm having difficulty identifying how MBRC defines their categories when it comes to Transport Noise Corridors.

The property in question sits in the category (image below) - "Mandatory Category 1 - 58 dB (A)"

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I've been trying to find the definitions for the past hour.

Category 1 is least noisiest based from the dB rating, correct?

I bought a property sitting on "Mandatory Category 1 - 58 dB (A)" zone, and I was aware of it at the time when i bought it. I did spend a bit of extra attention on that when i did the house inspection, and personally i think that sort of noise level is acceptable.

Just my personal on the ground experience.

58db is about as loud as an air conditioner or fridge. I think that is nothing to major.

Thanks for the feedback @+men. I had my builder check it out for me yesterday and he also said noise wasn't an issue, although there was heavy down pour
