I'm all for development and this is even in my back yard, but that proposal is too high. I drive past that each morning and it's going to stand out like dogs ********.

Public consultation period is now open I believe. The redcliffe peninsula community is a hive of opinions. When I was a kid I used to poke the beehive and run... nothing has changed

Do you know about the action group opposing it?

No but I'm sure they are a force to be reckoned with. Are you leading the charge?

No but my favourite real estate agent probably has something to do with it.

Technically yes, but in reality they are west of BCC suburb areas with Ferny Hills & Eatons Hill being SW of Bald Hills (which is technically BCC as far as I’m aware). It’s odd how they define regional boundaries as they often don’t align with location expectations.

I’m a little sceptical of Eatons Hill being in that list as it’s not even serviced by rail but I guess it’s getting the overflow from Albany Creek.

Once you get onto South Pine Road, it is a five minute drive from Eatons Hill to Strathpine Station using Old North Rd and Kremzow Rd

I can see exactly why Eatons is on that list, not an investor market but largely an owner occ %, a lot of house for the money in a leafy area. Its easy to see it increasing in demand as the inner/middle rings fill up in the next 10+ years

Yep...I think Depression Bay is a sleeper unlike some of the other Moreton Bay suburbs it is near water. ;)

Definitely much better than lower socio Logan.......it is my opinion...but others will disagree.

Hopefully once Petrie uni is built it will change the face of the nearby areas including DB.

Anyone got any updates on the uni opening date do you think it will be the start of 2020 or more closer to the end?

I was just looking at that property (16 Frank St) on RE earlier today. Doing a hard comparison against my similar price point purchase in Scarborough last year.
Plenty of renos going on around where we are, i'm optimistic (albeit bias).

I like it. Ive always thought it will eventually become a 'Bella Vista / Norwest' (NSW).

I keep an eye on it, but nothing has popped up that I like yet, for a decent price. Not that I'm ready to purchase, but you never know..
