    The other Mount Gravatt East thread has some good insights, and is a great opportunity for the newbies to see how others think, and then how the group thinks and concludes on a particular property. I think this is invaluable.

    My search has wrapped up for the foreseeable future whilst I consolidate, but I was looking very hard in Moorooka. The reasons for which should come out in the thread. I believe the Moorooka cat is well and truly out of the bag, so I hope we don't upset too many people.

    So, what's your price? And, why? (You can save this til post auction if you want to get the edge).

    I haven't seen the place in person, I don't know if its a good or bad, premium street etc either. Will also depend how emotional/frenzied bidders are on the day.

    My bid is 555k. Needs a tidy up but I think will do well. Close to an overland flow path but not really close enough to matter I think. Well below median and prices have slowed recently but still should do OK.

    The house has rotated significantly and every single stump is cracked.

    Disclaimer: I saw it with @Steven Ryan. I'll run a side bet that his guess is higher than mine :)

    I'll leave my bet a bit later as I've inspected it and have a pretty good grasp of the area I think.

    The bids will bell curve themselves. I'm very interested to see where i plonk. I have a figure in mind already, but Ill share it later. The price does not match my assessment of the property. But then again, I never ended up buying in Moorooka.
