    Hi All,

I want to move insurance to the property manager so it comes on the statement.

What insurers are decent regarding payout etc, but will bill monthly for REA to look after ?

I am not wanting to do full years payment at this time.

CGU do monthly and reasonable price and pay for claims ok, but you need a card IIRC & I cannot do that way and want it on the rental ledger now.

EBM do both landlord and building insurance and invoice your REA. I don't think you can sign up online anymore, just ask your REA to organise it via their account manager at EBM.

There are 3 companies that we recommend for landlord protection insurance, EBM, AON and Terri Scheer. These are specialists in this type of insurance and over many years we have found that we get the best cover from them. Landlord protection insurance is essential as it not only protects you from loss caused by a tenant, it also covers the building contents i.e. paint, carpets window treatments etc. Normal building insurance does not.

Most agencies will not pay your insurance on a monthly basis as it is time consuming although it is up to the individual agencies.

It is also preferable that you use the same company for landlord and building insurance but not essential.

Hi Tom, yes, am aware, I have used all the good insurers, my main criteria ATM is a monthly bill, and I want it to come from the rent....I will call CGU, I am mainly concerned about building but it must be monthly through the rent moneys, not my funds ATM.
