Hi Andrew (@Bargain Hunter). I had a great time. When sharing my story from an empowering place, inspires others, it empowers me!

We spoke for about 55 minutes. It was a full house, despite it being a Friday night. The audience enjoyed it, were inspired and we spoke to several afterwards as well. There were a few laughs as well along the way, so it wasn't all serious. It was our story and it was beyond what we've posted on SS/PC. I don't care how old someone is, my purpose was - even if it drives ONE person to change their life for the better, it would be worth it.

The best part of the evening was @Rolf Latham and Rolf's other half coming over all the way from Gold Coast. It was a long drive for Rolf and Mrs. Rolf and they came in seperate cars - Rolf from the office and Mrs. Rolf from home. It was so humbling for us. It was a surprise.....as I had just joked earlier on FB about the drive from GC to Brissy city . Made the day!!!

I love these trips. The host asked us if we could come next year. And someone else suggested a group that could benefit from us speaking there.

I could do this everyday....fly all over Australia and speak about our journey.

Interestingly, a lot of people come down to suggesting we have strong incomes. We do. I'm not denying that. However, what they don't understand either is, that we had nothing not long ago. We were "immigrants" and although I could read/write English, I couldn't say a full sentence in English. Now I call myself an Australian Pakistani ...and I can speak also .

Anyhow, I had a ball. I think Brisbane has a different culture and people are more easy going...Somehow different from Sydney?

I think the main take-home message I got from the presentation was the importance of having a support network around you to keep you pushing forward.

Brisbane, definitely very laid back compared to Sydney.

 

Inspiring!!! It takes a lot of courage and bravery to speak in public. I like.

Rolf L has taught me a lot too, he doesn't know he has but he has, such a great role model for so many of us.
Business is about the person (or people) and you ladies have such a unique attraction that can't be ignored, successful, intelligent, united ...twins. There's your personal branding right there -, you can build anything around that. Use that brand, that message to cut through the noise and become visible within any space you want.

Love to chat more when you're in Adelaide - or any time on the phone, but again - huge congratulations, you are both awesome and just absolutely gorgeous.

 

Looks like you ladies made quite an impression. I'm happy to hear it went well. I hope somehow you guys can manage a Sydney talk too. Would definately go to that. It would be a blast seeing you guys inspire a packed house down here.
