    Hi,

Thought it may be an interesting to start a discussion on mobile phones aka smart phones. In my humble opinion, I think the people in PCs are the types that are really dependent on their smart phones to get things done and to be highly organised with their daily activities with the different apps on offer.

I was pretty impressed with the new release of the Samsung Galaxy s8 and plan to upgrade to this phone when my plan finishes in a couple of months. (Curently using a s6 edge atm).

Hopefully this thread is not going to be on "why android phones are better than iphones" and suchlike!

I love my Iphone SE. Got the power and camera like the latest larger iphones but much more compact like the iphone 5's. I do not like large phones but like it to be fast and rock steady.

I have found Android phones to be more flimsy and less reliable. Iphones are built well, and everything justs works - always. I would call it more business grade.

It is a 2G phone which won't work soon as the carriers are turning off their 2G networks.

It's such a pity. The old Nokias were so indestructible that they will be dug up thousands of years from now as archaeological finds and will probably still power up!

I am very happy with my Galaxy S4 and I have no plans to upgrade. I tend to keep using tech until it dies or really can't do anything much anymore. I never feel the need to have the latest and greatest.

Android is just the software on a vast array of hardware, can´t lump them all together. Yes some Chinese phones running Android might be flimsy but others from the big manufacturers are rock solid.

I just bought the latest Motorola Moto G5 released last week, it´s great (only the second smart phone I´ve had, old Samsung Mini lasted many years). Android has over 90% of the market here in Spain, the iPhone never became popular.

I describe myself as a 'late adaptor' to new technology. My frieds describe me as a technophobe.
I have an Iphone (not sure which one... maybe a 5 or 6?). It was a christmas present as my previous phone died, and I wasnt going to replace it... Mrs Blacky likes to be able to get hold of me though :p

I loved the old nokias, the ones which you put in a case, to protect your foot in case you droped it. I had one up till the time I got my first iphone which was a 4 I think. Going from a week and a half of battery life to 12hours was a real struggle.

I also have a mac laptop which is about 6years old now. I inherrited it from my previous job.

I probably use about 10% of my technologys capability. And Im ok with that!

I hate Samsung phones, so much bloatware.

Vanilla Android for me, just got a pixel.

Samsung S7 Edge has been great. The S8 appears to be approaching phablet size.... great for handbags but thumbs down for pockets.

I prefer a phone that doesn't need a carry bag....

Well if there's one phone that you know will have been tested to the bung hole then that is it, after that "burst into flamey" issue, their testing is now second to none :)

I have an iPhone, I hate it but I have no choice, it's a work phone. I miss my XPeria :(.
