    Hi everyone.

I'm looking at a possible splitter block in the Brisbane City Council area (400m2 front block/600m2 rear block). There is currently a house on the front block which I'm hoping can be retained.

My big question is around the width of the easement to the rear block. I understand the minimum width required is 3.5m. Currently there is only 3.2m between the side fence and the house. Can anyone comment as to whether a relaxation on the minimum easement width might be allowed?

I'll be including a DD clause in the purchase contract, but it would be good to know whether the easement width relaxation is a possibility.

    TIA

Is that the wall of the house or the eave?

Then cut the eave off it.
