If you need to hire a mini-excavator I can strongly recommend this one.

Hired it for a few days when I had to dig out some large stumps for a client. Brilliant little machine!
    • Fits through 70 cm gaps.
    • Good onsite induction.
    • Relatively easy to learn to use.
    • Very economical fuel wise.
    • Delivered on time ready to go.
Unlike others at the time, they included the required attachments at no extra cost. Would hire from them again without hesitation.

Word to the wise. If you're going to tow it yourself, remember to check the rating for your vehicle. If you show-up with something that's not rated to pull the weight, reputable hire companies won't let you tow it.

And they wouldn't be doing you any favors if they did. Aside from being a very risky thing to do, it's also illegal to tow something where the total weight is beyond the capacity of the vehicle.
