    Construction is going along well.
The top floor slab was poured 2 weeks ago so still waiting for it to cure for brickwork to start again.

Interestingly one of the other small apartment complexes on our street has come onto the market.

    17 Boston Quay Mindarie WA 6030 - Apartment for Sale #123946398 - realestate.com.au

It's not my personal interior design taste but I'll go to the home open and see their layout etc. It will be interesting to see how the market responds to their project. We need to find out their price point too.

Unusual design. You would think it would limit their market. The curved balconies are unique but strange.

I'm hoping they haven't yet built a little cover around it - but yes looks bad do it that way. I wouldn't have let it be in the photo if it wasn't finished yet

Jesus that place is horrible. bad colours, horribly drab on the outside, no proper thought or creativity and a colour and material palette that would make the secret essex lovechild of warnie and kesha jealous.

Quite a few enquiries but no one wants to commit OTP yet. As soon as we have whiteset on the walls we'll ramp up the sales campaign and do physical walk throughs/tours to try and get people who have been following the build and registered interest with the REA

Things are slowly coming along - wish it was quicker.

We reached a major milestone in debt with $1m spent :confused::confused:

Top floor render is done and once painted scaffolding will come down. [IMG]

View from the middle floor to the ocean - will be able to see it even better from the top floor

Internal render is happening - geez it's messy
    [IMG]

Ceilings on the top floor are going in

Really? It feels like it is taking F.O.R.E.V.E.R.

But that could just be because I'm overseas and can't see it happening in real time.

I think it maybe going a bit quicker now that all the pads and brick work are done. It will start taking a lot more shape when external painting is done and scaffolding has come down.

Once it's in white wash we will kick the marketing campaign off again.

I think waiting for each slab to cure has been the hardest. It's worse than watching paint dry.

@Blacky and I are trucking along well but the "are we there yet?!?!?!?" still happens :)

Ha ha. And I've never had to wait for THREE slabs to dry before.
It is literally like going to every day of a 5day test match and having it end in a draw

If you dont mind me asking, have you been impressed with the communication, speed and quality of the builder?

    It's quite ok.
Personally I think they have grown too big too fast. I loved their personal touch and way the business was 2+ years ago.
Those fundamentals are now stretched and I think that is impacting on communication, timeliness and in some instances quality. They have engaged some big company professionals to try and help with the transition to larger company but there are teething issues and I'm not sure if I like the changes.
