They seem to put a large portion in the residence rather than investments

Jack is constantly surrounded by younger women...a life without financial worry largely comprised of rest and recreation.

Not easy at all, at least he can send them home.
I'm gonna need a bigger pool...

That's so bad that it's hilarious, but just goes to show how people want to believe in what they want to hear and not the truth.

Lost three years of his life which he could have made real income and a massive CG.
Instead he spent the three years reading PC watching other people making the money !

It's all about the mindset. You're either financially astute, or you're not.

I have friends who earn a good living but aren't investment savvy, and just stash all his earnings into a bank account. While lacking the knowledge of making his money make money; he at least has a healthy cushion to fall back upon should hard times hit.

Conversely, I know people living and depending on Centrelink - and given the Corona stimulus of $1500, twice, plus an additional $550 per fortnight throughout most of last calendar year, which would have been double their normal Centrelink payments; have squandered everything and do not have anything to show for it today.
