Mentors can be past and present.
Apply principles from that book and you will gain so much.
Hence why some will achieve and some won't, some won't read as they already know better.

I hope you are being funny, the book is called, "The Seasons Of Life" by Jim Rohn as @Sackie recommended.
Even though JR is dead (meaning past) he was one of the greatest business philosophers and great human beings. I have and still am trying to learn a lot from him, from his materials.
I found personal growth to be most important, once that is mastered then success whether personal, family, financial will follow.
You see ask the participants here on this forum, when they were hungry, they aspired, they desired, they dreamed big, when they needed advise, what did they do when someone recommends?
I don't know about you but I was ready the moment someone suggests a book to me I will check it out and read it, especially if it aligns with my values. When @Sackie provided the download I read it straight away....same goes with some other material from others....if it is relevant I will read, gain the knowledge and then learn and apply.
As the saying goes, "When the student is ready the teacher will appear!".;)

    Only if………,

No, I wasn’t trying to be funny. I am not very good with reading, so I have not read the book, but I downloaded the audio book from YouTube and listened to the whole 6 hours of Jim’s teachings. You are right though; he had great teachings and I can see his preaching’s in your post. I made notes of Jim’s work and I am trying to implement them in my life.

I want to say a BIG Thank you for reminding me of the reason why I came on this forum. You have no idea what your message has just done for me, thank you for giving me a wake-up call. I will listen to the audio book again, make more notes and apply as many of his principles as possible.

"When the student is ready the teacher will appear!"

    Thank you!!!

Correction: (meaning passed) - may help with a little of the confusion. ;)
