    Hi All,
    Which one of these suburbs below would potentially have a better lifestyle as a family with younger kids in Melbourne
    Mentone,Bentleigh East or Cheltenham

    They are all good. I live in Cheltenham, but would easily live in either of the other suburbs.

    Some parts of Bentleigh East may not be as well connected to trains as the other two suburbs.

    I'd say Cheltenham or Mentone by a long shot -

    Major shopping center (Southland).
    Minutes to beach.
    Express trains to city.
    Very wide range of good schooling, approx 5 public schools with open zones, and bayside private schools nearby. PS - Cheltenham Secondary College also had a student with 99.95 TER last year.
    Lots of great parkland & sports facilities.
