If you had 250k to allocate witha preference for detached house and land, where would you use it and why ? if not a house, what town house where and why ? With Adelaide, would rather be away from Elizabeth.

I'm terrible at property. I have one in Adelaide davoren park, it does its intended purpose of cash flow but I wouldn't bye there if your after growth anytime soon. I'll let the Adelaide team jump,in on this one. For that budget in Melbourne, only places in Melb I know is around Wyndham/Werribee that you can get around 250k, rent it for 300. One recently sold in the same street as my ip for 240k, they have just put in plans to build a rear dwelling and Reno the front one up. Not sure it's worth building it now, as I did this 3 years ago and only made 50k on paper. Also I personally wouldn't invest again, unless it's a major city, massive population growth for the area.
