Within 50km of cbd list a suburb that you know of that's going down in price?

Don't know? Thought it would be easier to name suburbs that aren't hot than asking what's hot.

No not yet, these 4-5acre blocks don't come up as often as last year. Soon we hope.
Toowoomba house will be on the market soon so I'm happy bout that.

If not going down per se, Southbank and Docklands are two that come to mind that could just be treading water or trending sideways, depending on what you buy there. A bit of over supply in the apartment market, particularly with the cookie cutter towers they build.

It seems docklands and inner city Apartments are permanently in over supply

I don't think I've ever heard in my years of investing a time when apstmernets in these areas were in demand

Was in Rosanna on Sat for an auction, there were around 100+ people but no one bid so it passed in. Was a good house, advertised $930k and now it passed in, it's only advertised as $950k suprisingly. Normally, it would be so under quoted to be $1.05m.

I noticed for the first time in almost a year one got passed in at Jacana. Another only sold for 460k, but they were both on crappy sloping blocks and if keeping the houses they needed decent renovations to make liveable. I think this is an indication Jacana has peaked because stuff was pushing 600k in recent months and was very hot.

Wow...was it an house or townhouse and land size? I was at Heidelberg Heights before the Easter Break and there was a property about 2 streets away from Rosanna. I got to admit, there was a huge-ish crowd but only 2 bidders. In the end a youngish couple work in the low 800s, I think $810K? Surprised Rosanna at mid 900ks is passed in...

How is Rosanna like? I am not yet familiar with the suburb. I only drove pass there actually, and i really like the parkland there, it's like a oasis, but then the house is on a main street, and very close to train station, literally can hear train noise.... but the oasis right behind the backyard is really a good plus.
