    hey guys,

I am planning my first property development in the Moreland city council and I am still looking for
    A) accountant who specialises in property tax/ entities and who will provide the best structure for the development
    B) a property lawyer for much the same.
    C) a town planner based in Moreland. I have found one who services Melbourne but I would prefer one who specialises in the council in which I am going to subdivide and develop.

If anyone has used the following in Melbourne please let me know or pm which your recommendation or feedback.

    Thanks

We are confronted with this statement all the time - when it comes to town planners - LOCAL doesn't mean BETTER. in fact local consultants might be less inclined to challeneg or question comments made or position taken by Council planning staff. A "local" planner may not want to upset a Council planner, fearing consequences, or damaging 'relationships". I believe INDEPENDANCE is much more important. We work all over the state and know the rules and requirements better than most Council planners - the statewide experiences give us better overview and insight. My strongest suggest is to find someone who is skilled, competent, experienced and Certified by the Planning Institute of Australia PIA - THAT would be a good start rather than assuming "local" is better.

Hi Simon, I'm looking for a property lawyer who can help with a Property Unit Trust. Appreciate if you could forward the details of the accountant and the lawyer.

    Thanks
