Hey, was wondering if there was a website like the QLD RTA. https://www.rta.qld.gov.au/Resources/Median-rents Where you can see the meidan rent of bonds lodge (not advertised). I couldn't see anything on https://rentalbonds.vic.gov.au/
I havent seen anything but you can get suburb reports on realestate and domain which gives you a guide. Although just looking through the rent sections will give you an idea in about 2 seconds of the going market rent.
Yes that is what I currently do/use, however they only show advertised rates not actuals. What if vendors were discounting by $50 pw compared to advertised (highly unlikely).
I hate median rents for the state. For example, isn't Western Melbourne median rent waaay lower then Eastern Melbourne? I much prefer to focus on each area.
Try this...http://www.reiv.com.au/Property-Research/Rental-Data/Median-rents-by-suburb You can select # bedrooms and then navigate to a suburb.
Thanks Andrew, will probably just use http://www.realestate.com.au/invest/house-in-melbourne,+vic+3000?shd=rental_yield
