    I came across this article in the UK where a journo saved a meagre £22k in a year by not spending on stuff.

    A bit extreme for some but not for others. As highlighted elsewhere I could do away with coffee and public transport, possiibly a few others & save $10k without trying.

    Ahhh......this reminds me of the paradox of thrift. If everyone jumps on the band wagon and reduces their spending then the economy will suffer.

    Spend up! Spend up! Keep those cogs turning!

    Whenever I'm at the Oxford Tavern I slip an extra ten bucks in. Gotta keep those cogs turning lol.
