Thought I'd be first on social media to announce Mayweather winning.

Technical KO round 10 I think. Boring fight.

There's no real loser as both fighters earn $100m each. That's absurd. I've seen more action fights at Mt Druitt station where only pride is at stake.

Very disappointed. McGregor should have had his *** handed to him on a plate. Good on them both though.. not many can legally scam multi million$ paydays for no effort.

Hopefully they simultaneously knock each other out so I don't have to hear about it any more.

I doubt you'll hear from Mayweather again. McGregor will be looking for his next event. What's the bet he'll try his hand at hollywood?

I don't know a lot about boxing but I thought it was a good fight - McGregor performed much better than I expected. Mayweather was in control the whole time though - extremely patient and calculated. Could make better decisions with his wardrobe though - what the hell was the mask thing he was wearing???!!!!

All in all - I thought it was a good way to spend a couple of hours on a Sunday arvo.

I hear they are now streaming the events live from 'Blood Alley' direct to FB. Someone's hacked the security cameras from Westy's and the picture is clear as... Winner gets Shazza (aka Shayda), a slab and a bag of ice.

It's pay for view too - cash only, if you know what I mean.

Sounds like the type of area where you take your good pub going-out shirt off prior to the fight, you don't want to get it ripped.

Most prefer to keep their shirt on to help hold in the excess 10-15 kg of belly jelly.

Datto, some of the locals could've knocked either of those two into next week.

And with your cut of the proceeds, you could have bought up half of Mt Druitt (but maybe not the station, so the Fight Club sessions are someone else's issue...)

    And that he did.

Anyway, I have to give credit to these blokes. Between them, they'll earn well north of half a billion $AUD for a fight (purse, sponsorships, PPV etc) announced 3 months ago and lasting half an hour.

McGregor is building quite an empire and is a master of personal branding.

Great to see the mutual respect between the guys too.
