    Is everyone happy with their insurer for building/ home and contents insurance?
    What are your recommendations?

    There are many general insurers. Premiums vary. Service levels vary. Soeoffer phone support and sone DO NOT. They are online providers so claims are web based with email interaction. And some policy items are add ons eg replacement, flood (some areas) etc.

    An insurance comparision site may even be useful. eg compare the market, iselect, canstar, finder

    Many insurers also have numerous brands eg Suncorp includes all these known brands
