Not so much property related but Mark Bouris is running a masterclass in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane next week. No doubt will be pushing his mentorship program but content seems interesting enough. Anyone going or been to anything he has done? Standard tickets are Only $129 but it’s more the Monday night I’m concerned about
Didn't he offload his customers to Mac Bank who then went to town on them with the rough end of the pineapple?
History's lessons.. He may have learnt that from Kerry Packer when he wanted 25 million to start his business model ,Packer said he would ""Loan"" him the 25 mill as Mr Packer sat there with no shoes and having a smoke , but the terms were before he left Packers Office he gave 10 mil back for all the media on channel 9 ,nothing has changed ,has it?..
My loans went Wizard->Aussie (we'll save you)->GE finance->Pepper. GE and Pepper were fond of raising interest rates but not fond of reducing them. I ended up with ~$1 million at over 9% interest. Ouch! The problem with refinancing from Pepper to a real lender is that mainstream lenders did not want to touch those low quality loans. Personally, I would not go anywhere Mr Bouris is. Burn me once, shame on you and all that.
His podcast 'The Mentor' has some interesting episodes, listened to a half dozen or so. Listened to Mark speak live at an industry conference a couple of years ago. The talk was basically the Wizard + Kerry Packer story re-run, interesting if you haven't heard it before. One of his main points on the stage was to work your backside off, work-life balance is a myth (in terms of it's all work if you want 'success') I disagree with that message.
