We'd used Smoke Alarm Services and been really happy with them for several years. We upgraded the detectors (our electrician did this whilst we renovated the houses with SAS's knowledge and advice).

Once we had the new style interconnected alarms our servicing went from $69 to $129 per year, so we reluctantly moved to Safe Home Services who are doing it for $69 a year.

So far we are happy with them. I'd have liked to stay with SAS, but that is a big jump for something I cannot see as being more work (maybe one or two more detectors per house for large houses).

$69 is for the annual testing only per year.
