    Hi y'all

We made 2 offers on an house that were rejected, this place was on the market for months and months, and the agents exclusive period has run out, the place is empty

has anyone ever tried to make a private offer on a house through a letter?? what did you put in it?? this would save the vendor many thousands if it could be done

I recall Leo said he has done this, maybe ask him....

If it was on for months and did not look at any of the offers or agents suggestions, then they may just want too much, but then again, they may just be at the place where they have had a gut full and want too offload :)

Worst they can say is no.

Do not say it will save them thousands because the REA may still be able to claim commission.
