I will be keen to keep my eye on the Mindarie JV build that seems like a real gem of a find and smart were by all involved.

Who got the finance through again what does @Blacky relation do again that helped?

Also that place in Catalina seeadler ave that you helped someone with the 2 narrow lot double storeys on the R60. What material was that built from again? Saw the sustainability tags up as i had a look

All is revealed on the Blackminster thread.

I am an ex commercial banker. My brother is a current commercial banker who used to specialise in large scale property development.

@property world the Clarkson duplex is being built by Thompsons Sustainable Homes. The second project of mine that might go to site is also being built by them - I'm doing a 4x2 and a 3x2 in Catalina.

Wow... You've started a business, on top of being a surgeon AND having a baby? You must only sleep 2 hours a night!

My major accomplishment was spending more time with the family.

Other minor achievements for the year:
    - Finished 4 unit development
    - Will have finished another 4 unit dev by end of the year
    - 70% through 6 unit development
    - Commenced construction of 3 apartment complex
    - Ran marathon under 4 hours

    Oh really thats cool.

Ill have to have a look. Why have you gone with them what materials were the walls? Did look like brick to me from memory.

Also what size is your new block for the 4x2 and 3x2?

It's timber framed @property world. The external walls are clad in various James Hardie Scyon products. Mine is a mixture of rendered blueboard and JH Scyon Stria (horizontal cladding).

    The 4 x 2 and 3 x 2 duplex are on a 360sqm block.

Nice cant believe you can fit so much on the block ie:180 ~ sqm each.

Can i ask how much the block was?

What do you think of blocks on the west side of Marmion there? I suppose they will have a fairly big price increase but potentially some great views.

Have you got any plans i can look at?

Relatively speaking... theres not that much money in Banking. All the money is in the property side of things ;)

I dont work in banking any more. I followed the $$ and moved to oil & gas.

Nice one. Despite my avatar I'm actually in oil and gas too, what an industry. I don't know whether I'm losing my job or being promoted!
