    I swear by this online site for macro research.
    It's from rabobank and contains lots of useful information.
    Anyone interested, I recommend the country reports published like this one on Australia

    Plenty of other reports on the site. Most of the high level stuff is free and gives enough info to put all the pieces together.
    The econimic indicators and projections table at the end is useful.

    Good summary of current conditions.

    For info, there's usually a really good 'special report' by the IMF into Aussie housing once every 18 months or so - part of their Article IV consultations. Also a great reference tool for the broader macroeconomic environment.
