Sorry cant post the link as it's a paid site I think so won't work. Google "Macquarie Bank names risky suburbs for apartments" and you might be able to see the full article.

"The inner-city postcodes across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, as well as on the Gold Coast and in Adelaide, Perth and Darwin, are most at risk from an oversupply of units in a slowing market. Macquarie yesterday advised mortgage brokers of new requirements, with buyers having to provide at least 30 per cent of the purchase price upfront."

Because they look Chinese probably - with the implication that Chinese are buying up all the apartments.

He's an ABC... not sure about her.
Article states that its about oversupply though so Mac Bank won't lend as opposed to a "Chinese are pushing up the prices!" story.

off the topic, where does most ABC in their late 20s and early 30s live ? (I presume at this age they moved out of home) for example those ABC who lived in hurstville, eastwood with their parents, or the Vietnamese who grew up around Cabra and Bankstown

As long as 4005 stays out of there I'm happy , though somewhat surprised by Rhodes being in there

Sorry to digress but I had no idea what you looked like @Leo2413 until I just noticed your profile pic (assuming that is you?).
I imagined you to be a lot older with more grey hairs

in melbourne - the ABCs and FOBs all mix up in the standard asian suburbs. They tend to not stay too far away from their parents which is sort of asian culture which is why the further outer suburbs don't get the changed demographics.

News just in! My cousin and his wife (who were featured in that lead article) just bought a great terrace home in Alexandria today by auction. I'm jealous but happy for them, its just a hop, skip and a jump to the new CBA offices at ATP. Its a keeper!
