Haven't used them, so can't comment on whether they're any good or bad.

However, just googled them and had a look at the first website that came up. The guy (with quite an annoying country NSW/QLD accent) was saying some quite beginner level stuff. This is information that you could find on these very forums quite simply at a much lower cost.

Phil Anderson is a great person and has a lot of wisdom to share. I've done some promotional work for him in the past. Many people who have attended his seminars say that they have gained at least something they have not known before.

I love seminars myself and have never been to any seminar where I learned absolutely nothing.

I went to one of their seminars a couple of weeks ago. This was primarily to get me thinking about different strategies.

The location and investment strategies seem sound. The seminar reiterated my learnings here at property chat and Somersoft.

Their approach is new properties ( House & Land Packages ) in locations selected with attributes for capital growth. They aim to secure locations at approx 7 to 8 o'clock on the property clock, working with selected developers. There is some kind of sharing model for the developer kickbacks which seems fairer than other buying groups. They apparently changed their cost model to bring their charges down recently. It seems to be better value than other buying groups.

Personally though, as I went through the process of independently buying land and then selecting a builder for my PPOR, I intend to use this valuable experience for future investments if I decide to buy new.

(disclaimer - I know someone that works for them)

Useful for looking at house + land type strategies. General thoughts on where to buy, property clock were also a good reinforcement of my own learnings and thoughts as well as discussion here. I did post a summary in another thread.

I personally wouldn't use their services as I have independently had a PPOR built on my own land. If I go down that sort of path I'd choose my own land and then independently find a builder that can do a fixed-price build in a fixed timeframe.

Hey D.T, kinda related. So is it not just me that can tell the difference between a Melbourne Metro and a Sydney Metro accent? People look at me funny when I have mentioned that. I think there is a difference. Why wouldn't there be? England is much smaller than Aus and they have a plethora of different accents..
Sorry for being off topic on this thread..

One of my first jobs was in a Telstra call centre. After a while I could tell where people were from by their accent, terminology, etc.

    My Mrs is from Brissy.
Despite her masters degree (of a certain standard of literacy) I still give her stick when after a few drinks she drops the "ayy" on the end of a sentence haha.

Funnily enough, in my travels I've noticed that it's the Adelaidians that have the most distinctive accent... :)

I agree, I actually think they are better spoken and don't have the twang noticeable at least in regional Qld, WA and the NT.
I think it might have something to do with having a higher English population? Or some other reason?
I can pick some one who has only lived in Adelaide I think.

Go to a seminar! You'll learn nothing... there was another "Guru" back in the 1990's named Henry Kaye... he had seminars and promised millions... he's now in jail or bankrupt? Ask this question..."What qualifications he has", "Does he have degrees in Finance and Business"? Rather than attending a "Sales Seminar", try to find a friend or individual who has credentials! People who have real insight and informed knowledge in wealth management will offer their guidance for free; it's called mentoring! I'm very wary of slick individuals who take advantage of people that desire instantaneous wealth... there is no such thing. My advice is your money will be better invested with a decent wealth management accountant or broker.

Hi Xenia. After all the seminars you've attended... are you now the property owning millionaire with no debt owing to lenders?
