I don't waste my time on the measly $4million weekly draws. I'm only in it for the big bucks like the $20mill and $50mill draws. Then if I win, I'ma writes me a book.
Yeah but if you won the $70mill where would you want to live? And would you get a live-in housekeeper and a chef? What about a new car, what colour would you pick? And where would your first holiday be?
We were just talking about what we would do if we won the $70m. I said i would build my own house on 5 acres and have a house keeper, Buttler. I would also buy some land near Westmead children's hospital and build 2 Ronald McDonald houses for the sick kids. Would buy a nice car, not sure what type but I'm more into bikes. I was in a syndicate for the $70m and we had 350 games. I won $13.65 so I bought scratchies with my winnings and my wife won $12 and I won $150 from the scratchies.
I do dabble in the bigguns but I also follow up with the smaller one the next week as hopefully people did their ass on the big one and there's less punters buying tickets. And another thing everyone should know that lotto is a good thing and everyone should play if not, you're a bad person! The money goes back into the community and your gambling addiction is key! Haha go WA, love it, great revenue raising technique. Overhead a bunch of old blokes at the bowling club talking about lotto and how the grants and money from lotto goes back to the communities and the smaller towns need that money for community centres, parks etc... cause they wouldn't get it if there was no Lotto! I also think it's poor form to have "lotterywest" plaques on children's parks
Forgot to mention I was with my Moshe and he was happy as there were no poker machines to rob him blind!
Yeah... not surprised on that stat... actually... I'd put it as a 1 in 5 or better odd of dating a millionaire if you pick from this forum's population.
Invest $10 weekly into term deposit or even index fund. Compare what you have after 20 years vs lotto using statistics. What you end up with is not insignificant if you reduce risk.
I'd be happy with winning the current $900 million powerball currently selling in the U.S. , no amount of index funds or term deposits would compare to that payout. Record Powerball jackpot irresistible for many Americans
Then why don't you have a crack at it? Fancy walking away with $2.1 billion? Because you can now play the US Powerball in Australia
