I think if you can narrow down the scope of the renovation, you may get some recommendations. Is it a full renovation, kitchen, bathroom etc?

    Thanks wylie.

Probably a full renovation job. The whole house needs some work and having a chat with someone would help.

Is it for a rental you just bought?
Your property manager is probably the best source of people in the area.

I have no property manager at the moment. Place was trashed by the tenant and no longer with the Property Manager.
It has since been broken into a few times (probably knowing that no one was living there) and stripped it of pretty much everything. I have a plumber going out this week to put in an extra valve so I can lock the water. I think someone had been stealing water.

@Shogun A bare minimum fix up would be more than happy for me. I was at uni before and time poor but have decided to go back to work to sort this out.

I have never done anything like this before.

    :(

I hope I never have to.
Like building a Hot Rod. You need a plan. Break in down outside then room by room. Work out what you can do from watching You tube ie painting, laying vinyl flooring etc. Then get prices for other things like kitchen cupboards. new stove? etc. It could end up being a very expensive exercise depending on what
    means.

Keep a close eye on total spend.

Hey gecko, im a carpenter (building supervisor for 10yrs). Happy to offer any advice or services. (Have plaster/tiler/plumber/painter team) Been in your situation when tennants have trashed my property aswell (whilst under professional property managment) and roughly understand drama of locality there in balga.
But to know and understand exactly what you want and need will requires more information and preferably a visit in person.

Probably not unfortunately, we are more middle to high end renovations which is where we tend to be more competitive price wise. We can quote but I can already hazard a guess it would be too much for what is realistically required. Happy to answer any queries though @gecko235

Hi Boeman, do you happen to have any contacts for retaining walls? I got a big residential job & don’t want to get someone off gumtree!
