@LouLou7 as a local, are you going to share the location? I'm dying of curiosity

I'm with a few others - the name is not as important as the experience ... and sometimes the name is completely irrelevant to the product and branding. Take Heston's "Fat Duck" ... doesn't tell you anything about "what" the place is - or - on a more personal level - my range of wine based products called "Spotty Dog" ... nothing to do with dogs but the branding is memorable, appealing and humorous (while still classic), with the actual product brings buyers back.

    That being said:

    Fishin'burger
    Catch of the Day
    Rod and Fork
    Lou's Burger Joint

I'm pretty sure Fat Duck is a reference to Foie Gras, force fed duck liver pate. Like cavier or hors douvres its the epitome of fine dining.

A lot of restaurants pick an ingredient for a name. Are you planning on using any special ingredients? Black Angus? Sourdough, pickles? stuff like that I reckon.

This reminds me of the pub in Newcastle called 'the library'. It was complete with bookcases full of the publican's old law library.
