We are stumped on what to call our restaurant/Takeaway.

We have decided to start a fresh and do a complete re brand.

Needs to be unique and unforgettable. We sell fish and chips and gourmet burgers.

Are there companies out there that actually cater for this and can invent a name for a business??

We were thinking of 'The Hills Have Fries' but I've been told by numerous people that it's either too long or would alienate people who detest horror movies..(The name comes from the 80's cult horror movie 'The Hills have eyes')

So we are now back to square one..

    Bob's Burgers :)

How about Unforgettable Burgers, Fish n Chips

But with a name like that you better deliver.

And yes, there are branding companies.

Call it LouLou. It's short, catchy, and you can put a different spin to it.
You don't need to spend money with branding company's especially when a business is in its infancy.

This was the name I had in mind when planning to open a fast food joint. Dropped the idea so I can let you take it.
    Sliced Bread
Simple yet delivers the message if you would have gourmet burgers.
You can add "Best thing since" before that if you are happy with a longer name.

Maybe the business name is not that important, there is a high-end low cost burger place in Queenstown NZ,2 main street flows one street front burgers, next door pies cakes ect, never seen nothing like this business model, from the time they open till early in the morning there is a line of ten people waiting outside..imho..

If you did chicken as well, you could maybe get away with Feathers, Fur & Fins

    Just something simple like Louburger?

There's a hamburgery in Canberra which has done really well from fancy hamburgers at a hefty price- Brod | Brodburger | Flame grilled burgers | Canberra - they are really very popular. They started from a caravan takeaway. There might be some ideas in that menu.

Sounds like a Pet shop in Kyneton Vic, might make people wonder where the ingredients come from.
