    Hi brain trust,
    I and my wife have been able to accumulate some wealth over the last 5 years and ready to jump into the property market. We visited Portland before and really love the town. Is it a good place to invest? ( for positive gearing type). Otherwise, where would be best to invest that near a beach/sea.

    We plan to either retire or sell and buy another beachside house (in the long run hopefully the property value can improve) so would really appreciate the advice.
