    Hi all,

I am thinking of making a change of conveyancer to someone new for upcoming and future property purchases.

Can someone recommend someone good in Sydney - I am located in the Hills district, so someone around there would be useful. Just someone with a good eye for detail, can take care of any risks for me, and do a thorough job.

I'm paying around $1300 or so at the moment with current conveyancer for each purchase/settlement.

    Thank you in advance.

Just the fidelity fund flaw is why I would never not use a solicitor who specialises in property conveyancing. I know several who have found the value in the fidelity fund which supports legal deficiencies and mistakes or even fraud. PI is also not always mandatory for conveyancers and requires you to see a solicitor to engage a claim. Wouldnt using the right party first be wise ? As soon as a legal issue occurs are you really getting the best advice or paying a second time ?

Hi Terry - mainly due to the cost - my understanding is that a conveyenser could cover it off as I understood most of these as most of the processes/checks associated with property purchasing legals is reasonably standard?

If you suggest an affordable lawyer in this area let me know.

Solicitors generally charge a similar price but are more thoroughly trained and can advise onside issues which conveyancers cannot.

Thanks Terry - anyone in Sydney you might suggest who is a solicitor? I am in Hills district, so if you suggest someone that would be good.
