    I got a letter today from an agency asking to appraise my property in Edens Landing as they have buyers waiting. I like getting letters like that - stock must be scarce!

    Auto generated. We bought blocks next to each other. I received a letter re my sister's purchase next door and it said that buyers are waiting...

    Agent apologised and said it's automated

    The 4114 Post Code represents Slacks Creek, Logan Central, Woodridge and Kingston, so probably a slice of Logan LGA

    The SQM weekly 'asking' property prices are trending nicely in a upward passing the 300k mark.

    Note again, it is asking price, not sold price.

    The rolling quarter % change is also trending nicely, inline with wider Brisbane increase.

    Slacks Creek Postcode is 4127, considered a step above the likes of 4114 - Kingston, Logan Central and Woodridge.

    The area is moving along nicely, when three bedroom lowsets are asking for $300,000 and only rent for $320-$330 the numbers aren't stacking up like they use to.

    That's normal when you work for high paying job in Sydney CBD or Melbourne CBD but still wants to stay in Regional area such as Wollongong or Geelong.

    Does the public transport in QLD is that bad @Plucka & @JDP1 ?

    I'll take some time to rest financially because I'm hitting the borrowing limit already.

    Next one will be researching the market properly using RPdata search engine for existing house before buying new OTP.

    Because I've seen some thread and complaints regarding OTP contract gets changed or refunded by the developers.

    Yes that's what I expect later on in the next 10 yrs when I sell it in the future.

    Researching on existing house to buy OTP? You really do like your OTP. Why? You would rather wait few years before you start earning income and CG? How many have you bought so far that caused you to hit the borrowing limit?

    Well next time I buy in few years won't be OTP anymore due to the price is already expensive, so no room for improvement.

    I'm too conservative so I just dare to buy one while leaving most of my money in the offset account.
