Or in the case of Logan City, the people are coming, build it now!

With South East Queensland increasingly becoming a hotspot, It is projected that Logan City will continue to be one of the fastest growing cities in Queensland. Four new suburbs were recently created in Logan, Silverbark Ridge, Monarch Glen, Flinders Lakes and Flagstone to house an anticipated population boom between Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

Logan City has its unique attractions that have resonated with people. Its ability to integrate new communities within established suburbs and businesses with new opportunities have seen it propel to a highly desired location.

Located ,in the middle of everywhere, it is only a 30 minute drive to many destinations; including the Brisbane CBD, Brisbane Airport, The Port of Brisbane and to the Gold Coast.

The population is expected to increase by up to 200,000 within the next 20 years. With the surge in population, there are new challengers for town planners and decision makers and new opportunities for developers and builders. With the growth in land, and house prices in Brisbane and Gold Coast, Logan City is ideally positioned to be the place to invest, live and work.

With this surge in population creating a huge demand on housing, the market conditions are ripe for developers to realise great returns on their projects.

I like the sound of that sell campaign. Khan, have you thought about contacting the Prime Minister to be his campaign advisor as they obviously hopelessly out gun by Labor this time.

Park Ridge has had a lot of development lately. There are a lot of vacant blocks on the way.
Some parts are still not developed and there is lot of scope of development.
The attraction for first home buyers are the $400K house and land packages- albeit on smaller lots

Yes, that's true. It still has some more potential to growth.

Last year I bought a 250 sq meter 4/2/1 house for $300k, now as you can see below, it's all gone up significantly

Look at forest Lake. The reason it will probably become a ghetto is because it's far away so it attracts cheap rent once the house loses it shine however I'm not criticizing in anyway your investment it sounds like you made some good capital gains and got in atthe right time and you will probably be able to hold on to those cgs I just think over the long run it may not be going up a lot. Look at Forest Lake as an example of how those far away Estates with cheap homes go. However it seems to have served it's purpose and the yield will probably be pretty good on an ongoing basis so I wouldn't feel bad about it at all

@Whitecat No problem mate, I don't take it personally, it is my decision anyway .

I guess I will have to wait and see for the next 10 years then I will update the status of my investment property.

So yes, I encourage anyone here be open and honestly criticize Park Ridge since this is open forum.

The numbers in the infographic don't look good at all. All time record supply high? Falling block size? Falling settlements?

Based on your numbers it was a good buy. Keep it well maintained and landscaped as a point of difference and that will help in the future.
Brisbane is very undervalued so all houses should rise just not so much those that are far away
