Do any of the banks waive LMI for those employed in the civil engineering industry? I've seen mention online for mining engineers although not civil engineers.

Westpac used to for Chartered members of Engineering Australia. Not sure if it they still do.

No specific policy for Engineers, used to be.

There is a lender that has No LMI up to 90% LVR for anyone, no specialist degree required, property needs to be in a Metro location. Owner Occupied. Maximum loan limits apply. Rate not the cheapest, need to weigh up if it's worth not paying LMi for a higher rate.
