Must be hard for Phil-Rudd to be sitting on the bench, while AC-DC do what they do..

Showing my age here.........however, my all time favourite concert was Cold Chisel's "Last Stand" concert with the Divinyls as the opening act. I recently heard the Divinyls on radio in the US. It was awesome to hear some Aussie rock on the airwaves. I still listen to Triple J online to get my regular fix of good music.

However, best experiences were those that were free and unexpected. I saw Paul Kelly and Neil Finn at the Domain just by chance. I saw Liza Minnelli under the same circumstances.....I was holidaying in the US during the 1994 World Soccer and there was a free concert.......and she was playing.

I use to see Flogging Molly in a small pub in Santa Monica during my student days.....before they made it big. They were fun and crazy drunkards ......and it was nice to hang out with expats when I was far from home.

Best International act Michael Jackson, History Tour in 1996. I scored 2nd row seats and he was brilliant.
Best Australian, The Divinyls 1993 at the Newcastle Workers Club. Chrissy knew how to work a room.

There are some bands/live acts that have been amazing, and others I wish I had never spent the money. I saw ACDC a few years ago and they were incredible, but U2 were a waste of money.

Linkin Park I wouldn't see again as they just seemed bored by everything (including performing) but other people have put on an incredible show. I've seen Bon Jovi twice because he (and the rest of the band) have such great energy while performing.

High On Fire are coming back in February. Have seen them 3 times now, can't wait to see them again.

You could either love or hate David Bowie but no one can deny he had the courage to be himself,he was a great artist in every sense of the word.

The Jezebels, Tool, Seether, The XX, Modest Mouse, Rhye, My Morning Jacket, Matchbox 20, Thirsty Merc

I actually tend to dislike going to see bands live. Would love to have seen Elton John on last tour, and v keen to see Girl Talk.

Like some of their songs, but not a massive fan.
Saw them live, it was pretty awesome.

My partner is a big fan so we went and I was a fan overnight - v impressed with their show, the lights, attention to detail etc.

I'm generally not a fan of being around hordes of people - most bands I like tend to be set up like this! I don't mind going to places where there's seating ahaha. I'm such an old woman sometimes.
