I remember Adelaide oval around 1986,queues waiting to get in,40 degree day and apparently theres a bomb scare(found out after),waiting waiting waiting. The band started playing to a empty stadium to entertain the crowd outside.

I have seen just about all the bands posted, but the best ones were in The Festival Hall Brisbane
Lead Zeppelin..Bob Marley..but the best ever was Stevie Nicks a mate now passed away had a hire business with the amps jbl speakers ,and I used to help him set up the sounds when they needed extra sound gear, standing back stage in the dark watching that Lady sign,priceless..

    Best value gigs:

Rod Stewart many years ago, when I was working uni vacation for a trucking company. I was getting paid double time and a half to watch the concert - we were working before and after unpacking and packing, back in the day when a group only had two semis full of equipment.

Neil Diamond ay Sidney Myer Music Bowl, standing just outside the barriers and watching for free. Roy Orbison and Melanie Safca joined in for duets.

Worst ever. Beach Boys. (I'm showing my age with these bands). Forgot the words to Little Deuce Coupe, couldn't harmonise. Drunk, stoned or whatever.

That is classic. I would have loved to have been born early enough to see Led Zepplin live. There is no group like them in my opinion. My favourite is Kashmir.

They started playing about 1973, I think they were one of the first Brisbane punk bands, and that house is still in red hill it was that out of level the beer cans would just roll out the back door into a 20 foot drop..

Haha they sound good. That must have been a great time. At least you wouldn't have had to worry about getting rid of the empties they would of just rolled away.
