    Please don't tell my wife about this, she's already a 'titanium' member at the local library. When she visits, she takes a wheelbarrow.

    I haven't seen our kitchen table for years, it's hidden under books. When we go on holidays, I buy her extra baggage allowance on the way out (she comes back lighter because she donates the books to the hotel library).

    Conversation between us whilst wrapping a birthday present for my niece:
    Her: "I haven't written a card because she's only 2 and can't read".
    Me: "You're giving her a book".
