Life Coaches

Is this another fancy word for a mentor??

Why do people need life coaches? curious

Anyone used one?

Who would make a perfect life coach?

How do you interview someone for this if you planned to use one/life coach that is?

Property Coach---hm ok
Business Coach---ok yup
Investment Mentor--- ok interesting
Life coach---

 

I have ? (question mark) for all the above.

OK call me a cynic but there are too many people in this world passing themselves off as all of the above but if they don't have a track record of success then what are they really selling.

I have a friend who provides mediation for couples who have marriage problems, however she has never been married, her relationships have all failed yet she provides advice at $120 per hour. Been doing this for years now, makes a great living, works when she wants and loves her lifestyle. Also studying art therapy, another useless course, but seems people are interested in this one too.

I think hilarious how some people can wing it and really know very little. Amazing stuff really

 

@MTR I agree with you that probably many/most of the mentors/coaches/advisors advertising are quite useless with probably zero to a very minimal track record. But I also believe there definitely are a those very few who are genuine successes and have good value to offer some clients.

 

I really dislike that entire industry. They try to define principles they do not yet understand then try to teach them to other people as if there was a way to.

 

I'd like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the two most important life coaches I've benefited from.

Mum, Dad, you're both awesome.

 

Does this mean you've exited that field now?

 

I always though life coaches were for WAGs and bored housewifes

 

I was never in THAT field.

 

Just ask one simple question,"WHY"..

wives and girlfriends- generally of sport players. Renown around the world for having everything from shoulders down, but absolutely nothing above...hence needing hired help to get thru life and thus a life coach...no offense to anyone.

but seriously some on this show are extrordinary business women don't get fooled by exterior, one owns 26 restuarants, pretty does not mean dumb.

 

This seminar was a lot of FUN. I loved doing this and the conferences were amazing. I'm still in touch with all the amazing people I met while doing this seminar and all the others I did on motivational speaking. I still do it, I wrote two books on life expansion and the areas of success psychology - all of it is my own work, research and observations.

I read people well and studying success principles and mindset is my biggest passion in life. I love it, writing 3rd book now. '
However I have never been involved in life coaching.
