Went fishing last weekend. And a few weeks back. And again this weekend. Completely takes my mind away and don’t think about the current mess.

it'd be the only way I'd get anywhere.

    And besides,

the lounges are closed. So even if planes were working how do you fly without going through the lounge. Only perk of living on plane is free lounge membership.

I drove 3.5 hrs to see a specialist today, he was late by 2.5 hrs. When he got back to the surgery at 7pm he called my name out I just happened to be in the toilet, so he took someone else into the rooms, after 30 mins I got in to see him. I was in there for 5 mins and said "your good" I paid the bill and then drove 3.5 hrs back home and arrived at 11pm......what a day. At least I got to go into Dan murphys and buy some Coors :) ( max 2 carton limit)...

Another day out on the ocean today. Didn't see another boat from 6am, through till my return at 1pm. It actually felt a little eerie.
Will be having a few quiet beers later on this afternoon, in my garage, eating some prawns and listening to some old tunes, unfortunately on my own.;)

I lost count of the number of bicycle delivery minions taking meals to their masters last night. Just sooooo many kg them.

Wow, I can’t believe I posted a picture albeit sideways and too big! I’ve cleared out the non operational outside dunny! It is adjacent to the outdoor area and I wanted some ideas on what to repurpose it as! I’m thinking of smashing out the pan and keeping the cistern as well as the funky artwork and maybe putting in a pizza oven!

The artwork isn't the only thing which is a little funky in that picture.

Well nearly time for afternoon refreshments with the Boss. Today it’s her latest home brews being Vampire (Black IPA) and Gose Troppo (Pina Colada Gose):):cool:.

Made red lentil curry in the pressure cooker. So yum or Yum So? Whatever. It is nice.

One advantage of trying to avoid the masses as much as possible. Cooking skills can improve.

    Nice.

I'm hoping that our grown children's cooking skills will improve to the point that they don't need to dine out or Uber Eat every day - they are on tight budgets.

I tried but I failed in that regard. Darn.

One of the better investments is being prepared to buy good, quality gear. No cheapo brands. For the price of each of my knives I could have bought a complete kitchen knife set but I doubt they would have lasted as long as the set I have.

That would be one good thing to come out of this, if we can stop consuming at the expense of the environment.

This may be considered sacrilidge to some but is seem some mirco and craft brewers are shifting production to making hand sanitiser for hospital and health professions. At cost.

Is that a faint wailing I hear in the distance from aficionados? Sorry but the greater good....

. Never gonna happen at our home brewery. Although I might be tempted to throw some ethanol into a few batches for added medicinal purposes:cool:.
