Good for you, wont learn much if this is your approach

I am certainly going to give it a read and report back to PC

Lets not pretend that all media platforms are not fake or biased:confused: Give me strength ….

I take your point and I have a lot of patience for all the rubbish media tries to sell but Daily Mail is just click bait mostly. I also prefer to learn from books or paid advice :)

I felt really bad for James packer when he opened up about his mental health issues in the court room few months ago and was being attacked by lawyers. Being wealthy isn’t easy as people think.

As I said I will report back on the book.

Not interested on the media platform

I am interested in the content of the book and if it can help investors

This is where you have blurred the line and made it personal

Beats the **** out of being poor and mentally unwell, at least he can afford good care.
    But I digress.

First 4 chapter don't reveal any great insights. (Over what is posted in here)
As a new investor when I read a book, I ask myself did it divulge an new information, if so can I verify the information from other sources (this Forum being one of those sources), my accountant is another (I prefer to ask targeted question to the accountant).

    More reading tonight.

I used to work for KBPs tax accountant and it wasnt him. We all worked in the Park St Building. KP used to get advice from many. Then make up his own mind. And would willingly tell you who was wrong. And wasnt often wrong himself. He would pay ten advisers them make his own decision.

I also met with and was given advice by his inhouse tax guru in his later years. VERY smart guy. Indian guy. He explained elements of a tax scheme a client was getting involved in. Who worked for the big guy.

    Neither wrote the book.

    Finished my reading.
Opinion - nothing beyond what has been posted in here by the various contributors e.g Terry's Tax Tips
